기록의 발전이라는 관점이 나에게는 더 크게 다가온다.

2021년 youtube올려진 기록을 보면서 느껴지는 그 에너지는 

정말 대단하다는 생각이다.

그런데 그 이후 귀에 익은 '동백아가씨' '섬마을선생님' 

정말 많은 노래가 히트했지만

대체로 어두어지거나 어둡게 느껴진다.

1961년에 쿠데타가 있었고 

그 이후는 그런 눌림이 노래에도 그대로 배어 있는 것 같다.

대중가요가 나오는 곳에서도 그 영향이 컸을 것이다.

'섬마을선생님'도 듣기만 해도 고단함이 일상이던 당시 대중들의 심정을 

외로운 산메아리처럼 울리는 희망을 아득한 음율에 실어 태우는 설레임이 있으나...

'열아홉 순정'의 에너지와는 많이 다르다.

개인적으로 이런 에너지를 대표하는 곡으로

그렇게 한 시대의 봄이 온다.
